Support
to Trinity Catholic High School The Boston ACE Fellowship has coordinated several events to support Trinity Catholic High School seniors in the college preparation process. On October 23 and November 27 of 2007, fellowship volunteers collaborated with staff members from Trinity Catholic to review college application essays and to provide mock admission interviews. On January 10, 2008, volunteers supported parents and students in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Nellie Brennan, admissions advisor from Brown University and former ACE teacher, provided expert leadership to make this evening quite a success. In the spring of 2008 the Boston ACE Fellowship raised more than $40,000 for scholarships to support students at Trinity Catholic High School through the Boston Marathon fundraising effort. On April 21, 2008, Fr. Sean McGraw, Fr. Nate Wills, Scott Kmack, Kathryn Short, and Joel Wichtman ran the Boston Marathon in support of this fundraiser. Events with Regional Teacher Volunteer Programs Boston ACE Fellowship and the Urban City Teaching Corp (UCTC) hosted an evening for current and former volunteer teachers in Catholic education.
